Inês Cândido Silva

Inês Cândido Silva

Graduated in Forestry engineering, from ISA, in Lisbon.

Since 2006 she has been in EDP Distribuição, now E-REDES, with different experiences: land and compensation to property-owners; stakeholder’s engagement projects; risk, resilience, and business continuity management, and nowadays sustainability management.

In sustainability she is addressing the development of ESG strategic topics in the scope of the Distribution System Operator (DSO) role in energy transition, such as Climate Change Adaptation, Circular Economy, and Biodiversity including the participation in LIFE projects about birdlife protection in powerlines.

Filipa Capela

Filipa Capela

Master degree in Environmental Engineering (School of Science and Technology – NOVA University Lisbon) and Occupational Safety and Health Certificate.

Between 2017 and 2018 she developed experience in QHSE – Quality, Health, Safety and Environment in Portuguese Windfarms and Electrical Distribution Network.

Since 2019, is working at E-REDES, the main Distribution System Operator (DSO) in Portugal, with Environmental and Sustainability topics such as Climate Change Mitigation, Biodiversity (especially birdlife protection), Circular Economy and Environmental Management.

Vítor Batista

Vítor Batista

Degree in Biology from the University of Porto.

From 1992 to 2009, he was a secondary school teacher and served as Director of the Douro International Natural Park from 2004 to 2007.

Since 2009, has been part of EDP group. Until 2023, worked as a senior specialist in biodiversity and stakeholder engagement within the Corporate Sustainability Directorate in Lisbon, focusing on aligning the group’s policies and strategic actions with international corporate sustainability and ESG standards.

Currently, works at E-REDES, the group’s Distribution System Operator (DSO) in Portugal, addressing issues related to mitigating impacts on avifauna.
